Review on Speakman S 2251 Signature Anystream Adjustable by Mario Olmos

I have only used Speakman shower heads since the 1980's as they have always been the highest quality shower heads. No longer. The new Speakman S-2251-ORB Signature Icon Anystream High Pressure Massive Brass Adjustable Shower Head is not worth the price. The shower jets are thin, widespread and of poor quality. Even the same Speakman showerhead I bought two years ago is a much better showerhead than what's on sale today. I know the reason is "save water" which is absurd. US residential water use accounts for about 7% of total water use; In other words, when it comes to household and personal water use, it doesn't really matter, or even matter, to conserve water. The only result of water-saving showerheads is that you shower longer to flush properly, which defeats the whole purpose of low-flow devices in showerheads. You can get the same shower experience for a lot less than $153 for the Speakman. It's really a shame that they ruined a formally great product for no good reason.
