It requires some adjustment and every time I take them off and put them back on the setup process starts all over again. I've also experienced what some of the other reviewers have said about the nubs chafing on my legs, which I wasn't expecting as I have very narrow feet, but after playing with the straps it wasn't an issue anymore. Basically, it's a long, slightly stretched string that's too tight or too loose in one spot, and you'll feel it everywhere.
