hand tears god! I love that I don't have to use scissors or a large tape dispenser. This material is strong enough for all backpacks except things like a 100-pound vise. I used this stuff ENTIRELY and for the rest of my life I can't understand why anyone would hate this stuff. I've moved the contents of whole houses twice with this stuff. Only if the item is small/thick and very heavy would I probably swap it out for a different tape, but I'd probably just wrap more of that material around the packaging. It will not break (pull out) over time.
