My experience: - I had Sennheisser HD 280 headphones, used them for an hour, my ears hurt a little. But I have a big head, keep that in mind. The ear pads are quite soft. Sound quality: These headphones have a fairly accurate sound and handle the mids and highs well. The bass lacks depth and warmth. I noticed that the bass was much cleaner as I brought the headphones closer to my head. Most headphones in this price range with large drivers (like these) sound very poor and have terrible, overwhelming bass. Koss Porta professionals also have this problem. They are 20 dollars. If you want good headphones you will have to spend a little over 20 euros. Update: They broke in less than 2 weeks. Not sure what happened. damn, they're fragile
