I was about to buy some glowsticks for tricks or treats but thought it would be better to get something reusable. These ribbons are perfect! Very bright. Almost too bright unless you wrap the tape around the LED itself. People were very impressed and we got a lot of compliments. My husband and I wore one each, and our two children each got two. They are very suitable for children aged 5 and 2 years. The LED strip is very easy to remove and my 5 year old had trouble putting it on without having to reattach the strip. If bad was something safer this would be a 5 star item. I'm still very happy with them and would recommend them.
