The plastic cable management box easily fits my large surge protector and a few feet of extra cable from items I have plugged in. The slots on the sides are wide enough to fit any cables just long enough to reach my cable modem and router, but enough of them are hidden and invisible inside. I like that it's unobtrusive and looks like a speaker from a distance. Love that it doesn't stick out of my setup like a sore thumb. The before and after photo is the larger of the two boxes I used in my living room. I will be using the smaller of the two boxes under my desk for my laptop and chargers.
