I love these diaper bags! Smells like baby powder. And yes, it does have a strong smell because that's how it works. especially when you have 200 bags per carton. I only put 1-3 bags in my diaper bag at a time and have no odor issues. Anyway, it holds about two diapers (size 4) and if it's a poop diaper, I just pull one in and tie it up right away. I don't knit rabbit ears either. Like the other reviewer, I actually assemble both handles, twist them in as far as possible against the diapers and tie a knot. It keeps the smell better that way. I don't have a diaper pail and have never smelled diapers in my house. I've been buying these bags since my toddler was 6 months old and will be buying them for my new baby.
