Installation Warning: You will probably need to consider the length of the horizontal arm and install the base on one side (left/right) of your desk. If you attach the base directly in the middle, the screen will be too close to you. See my picture. Does it support monitors over 27 inches? YES SIR. The product spec says it supports monitors weighing up to 17.6 pounds, which is a lot. My LG 34um88 weighs 18.5 pounds with the stand. The stand is quite heavy, so the monitor itself should weigh less than 17.6 pounds. If you have a 34-inch ultrawide monitor, check the monitor's specs and this monitor mount is probably right for you. Build quality: base, bracket and screw underneath. All bases are very strong and heavy. Cable Management: Convenient built-in cable management clips. You'll likely need a few extra zip ties if you want to completely hide the cables behind your hand.
