Your only option, too expensive

I am using this with a 5D MIII and the green rod in this kit is too long. I'm not sure if a shorter version is available, but if you use it with this or a similarly sized camera, you'll find that it doesn't work. Also, the shoe it's attached to isn't designed to easily fit the Scorpion EX, it's not properly upside down and you have to fully ATTACH it for it to fit.

Pros

1/4"-20 Flashner turns a standard 1/4"-20 tripod mount into a hot shoe. Attach any accessory with a tripod mount directly to the accessory shoe, accessory wing or camera.
