This tie is not recommended for wire/cable bundles larger than one inch. The device is quite thin and thin. So for a couple of Ethernet cables and American cables, that's quite enough. However, when I tried it on AC power cords, HDMI cords, and other cords larger than 1 inch, it's not recommended. Again, this would be fine for light use. I used one with "holes" in the velcro strips. that works and holds cables much better than this one. I had a bundle about 2" in diameter consisting of HDMI (3x), Ethernet (4x), USB (2x), DC power cords, and AC power cords (separate from low voltage cords). cable), so it just wouldn't hold up. I had to use regular cable ties. Seven inches is too short to securely fasten anything larger than 1 inch in diameter. Within this limitation, this tape binding works well.
