I would like to start by saying that I am very biased towards Asus/ROG as I usually only buy their products. I keep recommending their products to my friends and family since I work in the technical support department. My old headset that lasted me 6 years finally died in mid-December, just as it was due to come out. So I went with this one as it looked like a really good multifunctional headset compared to all other Asus headsets (my previous one wasn't Asus and has been out of production for a few years). It's quite expensive but mine was the last one to last 6 years so I figured I could expect about the same. I received it on January 3rd and was blown away. I'm an experienced PC gamer and also a Twitch streamer and I started using it right away. The sound quality is amazing, the headset is very attractive and comfortable. I have a phone that uses USB Type-C for charging, so I've successfully used the headset on my phone as well. The quality of the microphone is also outstanding for a headset, I would say on the level of a standalone microphone. I have treated this headset with great care and respect. Three months later, serious problems began. When I use it now, the connection drops from time to time, but the light stays on all the time. If I manage to get the headset to work I can't move the muscle or it will most likely fall out. When it fails, it causes performance issues with my games and software, even causing them to crash about 50% of the time. I then have to wiggle and constantly plug and unplug the headset to get it working again. I would not recommend this product to anyone who wants to use it every day as the price is too high for being so fragile. I hope this review helps.
