I would suggest. Since I started taking it about a year and a half ago, I can honestly say that I have never once second-guessed my decision. Good model. These are some advantages: 1) Easy 2) Ergonomic 3) Reasonably inexpensive 4) Decent video quality 5) One out of every 20 photographs, comparable to an SLR camera 6) When the light is right, the images come out really well. 7) The stabilizer setting at 40x is quite good 8) It starts up quite rapidly. Got cons: 1) A cumbersome and ineffective piece of software. 2) Digital zoom on video. 3) The user guide was presented in digital format on a disk. 4) While shooting at night, you absolutely need to have a tripod. 5) It smears reasonably well despite the fact that there is not enough lighting. 6) It takes a very long time for Flash to charge 7) Noisy 8) The paint on the case begins to flake off almost immediately.
