Review on Red Verbatim 2.4G Wireless Mini Travel Optical Mouse with Nano Receiver for Mac and PC by Robert Ducki

09/21/19Reviewing the Verbatim MiniMouse. I bought this to replace my old mini mouse of the same brand and model. I find it fits my hands perfectly. I am an adult female and have been using this mouse model for at least 8 years. Probably many others. It is so compact that it easily fits in your laptop bag. I also like AAA batteries over using AA. and one battery against several. The little things I prefer. The only reason I replaced the old one was that it still worked on everything but the steering wheel was faulty. I like to use the wheel to scroll pages up and down. It's just convenient. Now I cleaned the old mouse from time to time to keep the wheel working for a while. but now the purge seemed to be having less and less effect. I had to break it and buy a new one. In terms of durability, my old one has worked great for many years. still. What I will be looking at is the battery life as well as when and how long it takes the wheel to go crazy. I think the only other thing I can't call a bug is that the battery cover no longer "snaps in" and locks it. I don't mind this part as it's not a problem when using the mouse. This is only when it's time to transport it and toss it in your bag. You have to find the cover every time you take it out of your pocket. I bought it from a Revain seller and made Revain which I think is important to list this information. I have met sellers with different products including fakes even if they are listed under the same brand. I will post an update with a durability rating. ***UPDATE*** 04/17/20 I was going to buy a backup but I saw a sharp increase in price. I bought it for 9 dollars. Now it costs about $14. I love this mouse but I don't want to pay too much for it. I will keep it in my cart until the price drops again. Everything is fine with the mouse. It's great that the scroll wheel works again (was too buggy with the old mini mouse). Batteries seem to last well for the rest of their lives. I tend to turn it off when I'm not using it for a long time, and especially before throwing it in my bag. The battery does not need to be changed within a few months of my use. I'll update the mouse myself if anything comes up. ***UPDATE*** 4-29-21 I now have this new mouse. almost two years. It's still great. I often use this mouse for video editing for YT. The battery life is just amazing. I'd say I've only had to replace the battery 3 or 4 times in all that time. I have now switched to Revain rechargeable batteries and they last just as long as the alkaline batteries. Just wanted to add one more sequel as promised.
