I'm not sure if you work

We had a smell of sour milk in the trunk of our car and we looked for it to eliminate the "aroma". First we cleared everything out and then put all 4 coals in the trunk hoping the smell would dissipate as soon as possible. 4 days have passed and the smell is still there, maybe a little less, but by no means gone. I have faith, but I also worry.
