Review on Safavieh American Homes Collection Halle Distressed Black Side Table with 3 Wicker Baskets for Storage by Ashley Janney

Arrived intact, no damage found. Well packed. Stable construction, already assembled. Looks very good. The only thing that confuses me is that the bottom of the shelf below the top two baskets has a large cut out and is open. The baskets sit and slide on thin wooden slats so you can't put anything heavy in them or the bottom of the baskets will eventually crack. I use mine in the bathroom for extra storage. I have several heavy bottles of shampoo and mouthwash, but I can only store them in the bottom basket, which has a firm "floor" for the basket to rest on. In addition, the material of the baskets sticks strongly to the wood, and I find small plaited spots on the floor. Will probably have to replace the baskets sooner than I wanted.
