I've been using this mount for a few months now and am very happy with it. This keeps my Kinect on my TV, keeping it on track and preventing it from accidentally shifting. I've had better luck with the Kinect raised slightly, which I think helps the camera see my room better. This thing has a lot of adjustment options, so you should be lucky enough to attach it to any flat screen. My TV is 3.5 to 4 inches thick and I had no trouble pushing it far enough to feel stable. Once attached, you can always tilt the Kinect itself up and down a bit to orient it properly for your space. The Kinect is screwed down, so I'm not at all afraid of it falling off. I turn the TV around all the time and the Kinect never budges. The glossy black stand fits the Kinect perfectly and is compact enough to be barely noticeable. I don't use a bag that covers the camera because I'm not as paranoid as some, but it fits pretty well and again, it fits the look very well. I don't think this somehow prevents the Kinect mic from eavesdropping on all your conversations. For those genuinely afraid that Microsoft cares about what you're doing, it's still better if you just turn off the Kinect. My only complaint is that while it's highly adjustable, I felt like I'd break it in half during the initial setup. The unit feels solid and sturdy, so it's not a materials issue, it's just that the way they installed it takes a little more effort than you might think. It's not that big of a deal because I haven't set it up since installing it, but I'd be paranoid if I ever have to move it again. However, for the price I doubt you could find a better stand than this if you want your Kinect to sit on top of your TV.
