Review on 🎧 Gold Jaybird Freedom F5 Wireless Bluetooth Sports Headphones – Secure Fit for Sports – Durable All-Metal Design by Sean Maples

Not useful: Sold with defective charging clip (battery)

This item arrived during a business trip so this review is a bit late. Charged via battery clip. The earphones do not have their own charging port. The corrosion of the charging clip has spread from one of the wires to the air vents at the end of the device cable. When I tried to charge it it didn't work. I tried cleaning it with a toothbrush and the copper wire slipped out. So the headphones are useless unless I buy a new battery. I also wonder why they didn't choose a more functional design for the ports. They MUST be backward compatible and the company MUST USE THE SAME LEAD TEMPLATE. I've had 4 other pairs of Jaybirds but none of the chargers work because the pattern is different. That's ridiculous. If only they had the same pattern as the battery free clip used in previous versions I would be in business. But then they wouldn't have made any money from selling accessories. Ok Jaybird. I can see how a clip on the system can reduce wire breakage, but when the pins go bad it doesn't stay. That's from experience. Another thing is that this seller allowed to sell a rusty battery. I still wonder what other designs and better or less dated planning would be great. Unfortunately, Jaybird is quick and painstaking in discarding all previous versions of its headphones. You won't even see them on the website. And they are hardly mentioned or supported. The charge was enough to test the product itself. That's passive noise cancellation. ear adjustment function. Luckily, the Comply foam creates an excellent seal, so there's just enough of it to do a good job of blocking out most noise. The sound quality is good, but I won't go into details. Not $500 - $1000 is fine, but okay. No static or oddities. Subtle bass and isolation make the sound believable. Absorb moisture well with materials. I like the smooth matte finish of the headphones and the material of the cable wicks moisture well too. I still like the Jaybirds. I've bought more headphones from this brand than any other headphones including Bose, Shure and other low-end or low-profile Chinese brands (most of those things are made elsewhere anyway) which greatly compromise the quality, support and quality improve characteristics. . Check out Phizer. The Bose Soundsport has internal ear hooks that attach to the sound tips, so no Comply foam ear tips. A lot of noise. Phasers are really great. Sound quality isn't the best, but it's okay, especially with the included foam earbuds and for the price (you get all the accessories that come with any other pair of sports headphones, including neck cord routing, shirt clips, foam earbuds). They also have magnetic clips to secure the heads around the neck when not in use. The new Jaybird Tara finally has this feature. So I will continue to try Jaybirds for aesthetics, sound quality, comfort, fit, features and most importantly because the design is still head and shoulders above others that make good functional copies of current trends. but don't do the same ergonomic research. They work with athletes, reduce the size and feel good. but I will spend less money on it or use backups as other brands improve their game.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Big and bulky
