AR-15 Best to wrap with duct tape

I bought this to wrap the barrel of my AR-15 to give a little camouflage while hunting and to prevent the horrible ringing when you use your rifle like this place carefully on metal. Rail. It was perfect and just one role was enough for me. It sticks to itself, but I taped the end with camouflage tape to keep it from accidentally coming loose. Since there is no glue on it, I can easily remove it from the gun and it doesn't leave any marks.
