I commute between home office and work office. I'm tired of carrying around the charger for my Surface Pro (and forgetting to put it in my backpack more than once). So I decided to buy a new one. The product was very attractively priced compared to the original Microsoft charger. In terms of performance, I had three considerations: (1) It powers my Surface with no static electricity, which it does; (2) it does not heat up and become a fire hazard, which it has not yet; and (3) durability - since I just bought it (September '21) there is no consensus on that. I will provide an update in 6 months. It's 50% thicker than the original, so not ideal for traveling, but since I leave it in the office, I don't mind.
