Silent Passive Cooling

I rarely write reviews and have not been paid to do so. No promotions. This is an exceptionally well-made aluminum laptop stand. I'm using this with a Thinkpad workstation that gets pretty hot. I have another product which is a solid piece of aluminium, heavy and well made. But this one cools much better. This provides enough cooling to keep my laptop cool throughout the day. I rarely hear the fans turn on since I started using them. I didn't buy the fan version because I always have the option to add Noctua fans to this design. My 15.6 inch hippo sits well with the sides protruding a bit. But the laptop remains on rubber feet. The position is tight but I found it very comfortable. My wrist hurts and I use an ergonomic mouse and keyboard. But with this tablet I have no problems with the laptop keyboard. The viewing angle is excellent. The best part is that it is lightweight and I can carry it with me around the house. I want it to be modular and sometimes lay flat. But there are no complaints. The design is great, no sharp edges to cut. The only problem I see is that rubber seals can degrade over the years. But I think it won't be long now. It may also not be as resilient to abuse. Because it's thin and light. But it does the job and I don't intend to test it destructively.
