The t100ta convertible book is such a tricky device that the charger is preferred. Of course I tried different cables and adapters (I tried all 15+ I had at home) and still hated every one. Last. one. Out of. She. It annoyed me so much because a cable that worked didn't work half the time unless it was at a certain angle. So I searched the internet and found this. For $13 it wasn't a bad deal. Try it out and the reviews are right! The best part is that I can use the laptop while it's plugged in (along with a long cord so I don't have to sit 3 inches from an outlet). However, I do have one downside - how bright the light is when it's plugged in. I'm a student, I charge my laptop every night when I sleep (if I don't fall asleep before I plug it in, which I did), every light is right in my eyes, so I pasted 4 pieces of washi tape ( I wanted to make sure I knew when it was plugged in) to make it dark enough for me to sleep in. But if that's the only bad part, I'm still 100% happy with my purchase!
