I hope I'm just stupid. *Updated*

I've had several Fitbits over the years, the last being the Ionic and I really liked it. I chose this as I killed my Ionic by accidentally hitting it on rocks and getting waist deep in water while hiking. I love all the bells and whistles of the Versa 3, it's basically an upgraded Ionic but the heart rate monitor is great! I also have a chest monitor that I wear when I'm climbing stairs and it says my heart is 178 I'm dying but then I look at my physical pulse and it says 120 and it doesn't seem to want to get to 145 then at the Work, when I'm sitting just typing and doing nothing the Fitbit suddenly jumps to 145 and then 89 and that's how I get 4,000 calories lol. I'm just typing. But apparently I'm more into typing than working, lol. I've changed all settings on Fitbit to make it less sensitive, I've restarted, reinstalled and factory reset but nothing helped. I'll order another one and see what happens. Let's hope *Update* I returned my Versa 3 and got another one. It seemed to track better than the previous one, but I also noticed that it needs to be 2 1/2 inches above my wrist bone for it to really read accurately on me. I posted some pictures of it. When I run the Versa at this altitude, my calories and heart rate seem right for weightlifting, stair climbing, and Pilates training. During the run, the watch on the wrist showed that everything was fine. I also noticed my watch was counting crazy calories at work and because I was typing 8 hours straight to fix the problem I tried putting my other hand on I set my sleep to normal but it didn't work. Then I placed it 2 1/2 inches on my dominant hand and he correctly understood that I was working. It's just a shame I have to hold the watch so high to get the right reading when I didn't have to on my Ionic. Ah, that's it. Still, I love the watch and will continue to use it. In short, if you feel like they're not being read properly, try lifting them higher on your arm.
