I mostly buy Sephora mascara and before that I always trusted L'Oréal for the effect of thick long eyelashes. But I was looking for something more natural so I bought this Cover Girl Blaster in brown. I don't think I've ever used this brand. Based on all the rave reviews, I gave it a try. When I first applied mascara I noticed there wasn't much product on the stick. I usually dab my mascara with a tissue before applying it. The mascara also seemed dry. I had to dip a few times and touch up my lashes a few times to get them all. The result is very naturally beautiful cilia. However, I did notice some irritation (like chemical fumes) and some of the product flew off under my eyes after a few hours in the office. It was worst the next day or two later when I noticed my right eye was itchy and had a tiny white bump on it. All day I cleaned my eyes with witch hazel and applied a damp cloth to it. I have NEVER had such a reaction to mascara. The bump disappeared and vision improved in less than 48 hours. Two weeks later I tested the mascara again and thought the eye problem was an accident? The next day the same thing happens! Another bump and irritation in my eye. Although the product looks natural, it doesn't last very long and those sold on Revain are obviously dirty or expired.
