Review on JBL Live 660NC: Long-Lasting Battery Wireless Over-Ear Headphones with Noise Cancelling & Voice Assistant in Black by Mark Howard

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great workmanship and performance for the money.

These headphones are very comfortable. There is sometimes a bit of clamping force, but most of the time the cups just fit snugly. as a braided 3.5mm audio cable for passive listening. The Live 660NC's noise cancellation is truly amazing. Quiet humming noises are reduced just as much as fan noise. I'm impressed with the noise cancellation on them. It's actually better than the ANC I've heard from other higher RRP headphones. The call quality is clearly audible to your group and they can hear you. Unfortunately, no matter what I tried, the people I spoke to could also hear the background. noise around me. So I would only use them for making calls in quiet environments. Ambient mode works well and sounds quite natural. There is a button to activate pairing mode and next to it a button to toggle between ANC, passive and ambient modes. also different beeps for each mode, making it easy for you to remember which beep is associated with which mode. partly because the headphones are very effective no matter what mode they're in. They let you hear outside noise when you need it and nothing when you don't. The sound quality has some strengths. open and the bass digs deep and spreads well. It could be a little tighter, but it's a lot better than what I've heard from competing models in this price range. However, the high frequencies require some work. No matter what I did, the disadvantages of bad highs could not be completely concealed. Activate Assistant by simply holding your hand over the left earcup. If you're looking for new headphones with long Bluetooth range, good all-around sound, and really great active noise cancellation, the JBL Live 660NC is one of, if not the, best option. I've heard in this price range. The convenience of more expensive ANC headphones with competitive battery life and good build quality.
