The reason I bought this case is because it's exactly the shades of purple that I like. While I love this color I have to say that this case does not fully protect my iPad if dropped. The top right jumps out of place. I suspect this is done on purpose to make it easier for the consumer to remove their iPad. However, it's a pain when I lay down to read and he jumps out of his seat. Even if you have a silicone case on your Apple Pencil, the pencil slot is not wide enough. I can still levitate my pen in place, but I have to work a little more for it. If you're someone who rarely leaves the house (even before the pandemic) and don't use a silicone case for your Apple Pencil, I recommend this case. It is durable when used to set up an iPad and also puts the iPad to sleep when the lid is closed. But if you are looking for a sturdy case to protect your expensive and expensive device, I definitely don't recommend it.
