I needed a new sun visor for a newly purchased truck. I drive a Ford F-150 Super Crew Cab Truck (using this information as a windshield size reference). After reading other posted reviews before purchasing this sun visor I knew I had to take the time to get the item out of the box. This suction cup unfolds quickly, so be careful. At first it seems a bit overwhelming. However, once you put it to use, the magic kicks in. The seller sent me a follow-up email with a PDF to fold. I already figured it out. 1. Join the two halves together (make one piece) - how to fold a piece of paper in half.2. Holding it at the 9 and 3 o'clock positions, do a figure eight twist, making sure one of your hands grabs the attached strap you removed at the beginning.3. Put it together now. They should now be the size you originally received.4. Wrap the strap around the middle and place it in the stretcher. I haven't read the PDF yet but the above method works for me and I can put it back in my tote bag within 15 seconds. As you can see from the two photos below, this sun visor offers more than enough protection. Loose edge material can be easily positioned where you need it to keep sunlight out of the corners and onto the rearview mirror mount. So if you're looking for a way to extend the life of your dashboard, front seats, etc. from the intense heat of the sun, I recommend this protector. You might want to take it out of the box before using it for the first time so you have an idea of what to expect based on how quickly it unfolds and its size.
