I've had these cables for about a month now and they could be the best USB cable its charging cable I've ever had. After a lot of research and searching, I purchased premium Monoprice 3ft and 6ft cables to use with my Nexus tablet and phone. They are definitely better than the half dozen or so other household cords I've bought over the years. The only thing that surprises me is that these cables aren't more popular on Amazon. Pros: -23 caliber, confirmed by Monoprice online support. After reading a bit, I found out that the size or thickness of the charging line in the USB cable can affect the charging speed of your device. The smaller the sensor, the thicker the cable and faster charging. The higher the number, the thinner the cable, resulting in slower charging. Most aftermarket USB cables are over 30 gauge (thinner) than this 23 gauge cable. With cheaper thin cables and a standard outlet, charging my tablet can take around 8-10 hours. With these cables it takes 6 hours. The cable material does not get tangled. Build quality matches my factory Samsung cables that came with my phone and tablet. Gold plated connectors. probably suitable for most cases. Cons: - I wish there was a 4ft mono price premium cable because 6ft can sometimes be a bit longer.
