Review on 🧼 Demodex Cleansing Pads - Pack of 30 Pre-Moistened Pads by Brittany Harris

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Was recommended to me by an optician

I have been diagnosed with a severe case of eye mites and have been advised to use these pads twice a day morning/evening. Here's my daily routine: I cut a pad in half so each box lasts a month. I wipe the top and bottom lash line, the crease of the lid, the brow bone, and then any oily spotβ€”for me, that's the forehead, hairline, and sides of the nose. I started using Oust on November 23rd so it's been 5 weeks now. I was told to expect good results in 3 months because the mites are very persistent and prolific. After the Oust peel, I wash my face and neck with Tea Tree Therapy soap and apply OcuSoft HypoChlor to my lash line and eyelids - the HypoChlor stays behind. In the shower I use Tea Tree Therapy soap and for my hair I use MGA Scalp Rescue Shampoo and Derma-E Scalp Relief Conditioner, both of which contain tea tree oil but are safe for colored hair. I add a special liquid to the laundry to remove demodex when washing clothes/towels. They say that eye mites are harder to get rid of when you have pets and I have two cats, but I still see some improvement including the bonus that one of my eyes actually looks bigger (less swollen closed) and that's great. . I used to use a lot of oils around my eyes as an anti wrinkle product, but then I found out that mites love oil so I stopped using it. Now I mix a scoop of zinc oxide sunscreen, a few drops of tea tree oil, and some aloe vera and use this daily to protect my face and neck. I'll report in the spring to see who won the Demodex war.
