I'm annoyed that I didn't order this sooner. For months I've been thinking about getting a headlamp so I can work on projects (sewing, crocheting, etc.) in front of the TV in the evenings on my lap. But I kept imagining the harsh light reflected off the TV screen. And I was worried that the light would be too bright and leave spots in my eyes when I look back and forth between my knees and the TV. And I worried about blinding my partner and dog when I turned to talk to them. This neck light is PERFECT for my purposes. The light spreads enough, not just a pin-sized spotlight. If I drop a pin on the floor (sooo many pins) I find it so easily now! I like being able to direct the light by bending my arms. I'm so glad I didn't buy a headlamp instead!
