Great tripod for the money

I bought a Manfrotto 502AH video head and mounted it on my ball head tripod that I had for photography. It wasn't a good attitude. The 1-inch-wide hinges at the top of the tripod moved when panned, and the carbon-fiber legs flexed as well. So the search for a solid tripod began. Found this tripod here at Revain after browsing all the cool stuff on B&H that costs hundreds more. The fact that it comes with a dish mount at this price is what won me over. If I were a pro this might wear out over time but for my needs it's a steal! I put a Manfrotto head ($150) on this Cayer BV30L tripod and now I have a really good video tripod. The dish mount is plastic and requires some twists/force on the handle to tighten, but leveling the head becomes a very easy task compared to adjusting the tripod legs to the terrain. I installed the head that came with this Cayer BV30L tripod on my old carbon fiber tripod and now I have a second tripod which is great for static shooting. I put my BMPCC 4K on a Manfrotto/Cayer BV30L rig (no IBIS) and my GH5 on an old flexible carbon tripod. The head that comes with the Cayer BV30L is pretty good for what it does and works with Manfrotto records.
