My only complaint about this is a the smell. I apply this at night after I get out of the shower. I HAVE to take a shower in the morning to was the smell off. I can tell a difference after one use though. If I want to get darker, I will apply this about every 3 nights and I can tell a huge difference. Haven't had much trouble with orange spots. I use the mit to spread it.
