Revainrating 4 out of 5

This thing has a face for video

Regarding that Appearance is this kid Rock it out of the park. Really snazzy looks, a bit smaller than I expected (I thought it would be more like those special 1980s radios you see in grandpa and dad's garages. You know? The dials are incredibly delicate, although it can take a while to pick up land them right It's really great that you can plug your phone directly into it (although the cable isn't included) The speakers are nice and loud, but the sound quality is about what you'd expect from a $30 Radio would expect, not bad at all, just unremarkable. The biggest downside for me is that most local stations have a huge hiss, tell me where and why, I haven't taken it apart yet.If you hold the cable that's all ok step back?Insta - Static Big radios (with big OOMPF signal) sits pretty well between 3-4 stars in this one but settled on 4 because the price is fair t, it works ional and it looks really cool ah. I think if you're looking for a centerpiece for your living room, spend a few bucks more for something higher quality. But if you just want to jam out to a few tunes while you're doing some woodworking or having a beer in the garage, that's fine. :)

Pros
  • ► Power supply: AC 120V/60Hz (included) or 4 C batteries (UM-2) (not included)
Cons
  • Not as thick as other models
