First, I'm a 6'1" male and weigh 240 pounds. I ordered the heaviest blanket this company offered and damn it's beautiful. I live in Southern California and I get very hot when I sleep. I usually keep the ambient temperature around 66 degrees at night. The 25 lb queen size duvet is amazing and comfortable for my height. Now let me get that out of the way; I'm not scared, I'm not very stressed and I don't suffer from insomnia. I just wanted a weighted blanket because I liked having something heavy on my chest while I slept. So if you're wondering if this review is related to your needs for this blanket, I only have my own perspective. The blanket maintains a near-perfect temperature throughout the night. With the fan on, I sometimes have to throw a sheet over it to keep the heat in. If you are a chilly sleeper I would recommend bringing a blanket that can cover it or be prepared to bring a second blanket. One thing I noticed is that I'm not exactly sure if two people will fit underneath. A queen-size blanket, enough to cover most of a person's body. I feel like the ceiling is big enough for me at the moment. I like it when it covers most of my body surface. I've had this blanket for about a month now and have had no problems with beads leaking.
