I'll start off by saying I really like this figure, but that doesn't mean it's trouble-free. First of all, the sculpting of this character is simply fantastic. Thanks to the use of CGI files in the creation of this figure, every scale and horn/thorn is perfectly realized. This illustration represents almost exactly what you see on the screen. Next comes the articulation. Articulation seems to vary from figure to figure as mine is perfect, but others seem to have issues with necks and tails. But like I said, mine is almost perfect, just a few loose joints. Now let's get to painting. This seems like a big difference from other purchases. For me the color is excellent, no chips or streaks in the mouth. However, other people received figures with peeling paint and terrible paint on the lips. In that case, the varnish is fine in my case. In summary, this figure is a great release, but not without problems. The lack of beam effects is also disappointing.
