Looks good but not for heavy use

Most of the reviews I read before purchasing, good or bad, turned out to be true. The chairs look nice. They wobble from side to side. They unfold easily, fold neatly and store away. The long sticker below is awful to remove. The price is very reasonable. The chairs are smaller than you would probably expect. For buyers interested in possible issues, I will explain my concerns. The wood parts are solid, but there are few connection points between the seat and the sides, hence the wobble. I noticed a slight improvement after tightening the screws on the side of the seat with an allen wrench and pliers and using a Phillips screwdriver to tighten the screws towards the back of the seat. I'll probably have to add hardware to really stabilize it. As such, I wouldn't offer a chair to a heavy adult (take this weight limit seriously), a wide adult, an older adult with balance issues, or a very energetic adult or teen (if you're imagining family members screaming during a soccer game). no, no, not for her). I can sit in chairs because I know what's what, and so do my petite mom and friends. The chair's minimalist design made me think it would fit well, but the design would be uncomfortable for many people. The seat is short and the brim comes to mid-thigh, which is odd. The backrest is inclined so that when I'm sitting upright only the bottom bar is touching my back, which also seems odd. I have to crawl to the edge of the seat and lean back in the chair so both rails are in contact with my back. I've seen this as a problem for those with back pain so I wouldn't recommend them to them. The reason I'm clinging to them is to avoid big, heavy, boring metal folding chairs. Many of us caretakers expect to sit in those wooden chairs for a few hours max a few times a year and are determined to make it happen. At least the chairs look good.
