Review on 💡 TRLIFE Modern Cool White Wall Sconces Set - Plug in, 12W, Acrylic Lighting (2 Pack) by Troy Henkhaus

I've been looking for the bright LED lights I've been in for over a year put up shelves in my office. The light switch in this room is in an awkward position and since it needed to be high I wanted to be able to use a smart plug and turn it on with my Alexa device and provide a comfortable amount of light in the room without turning it on Main light unnecessary. I made a few purchasing mistakes when choosing - most LED lights are "touched" or have a switch that is incompatible with being "on" and being controlled by a plug/Alexa. Finding a modern and stylish LED lamp with a switch that works with a smart plug turned out to be much more difficult than I thought. I was a bit exhausted when I finally found them and since I wanted 4 bulbs they were more expensive than I had planned but I decided to at least give it a try. Went like clockwork. This isn't the design I originally intended, but after a few FAILURES along the way I was more than willing to compromise on my exact vision and they are smooth enough for what I was doing in the space so I ordered quickly another set. Connected to my Alexa via smart switches that I've grouped together and provide the perfect on/off voice control Alexa lighting in the room I've been looking for. Feels cool when working, energy efficient and bright. I wish they were less expensive but I'm happy to finally find them and complete this part of the renovation project in this space. I was initially looking for a "light fixture" rather than something that needs to be wall mounted like it's intended to be. I've found them to be more than sturdy enough to be pulled out mid or in front of the shelf to provide better lighting and I don't have to wall mount them. What I didn't understand from the description is that they can also be configured or reassembled to allow them to be hardwired. If that's what you're looking for, this is an option. See attached photos of the back - if it weren't on a very high shelf it would be unacceptable but they are designed to be wall mounted with either a switch/plug or a cord unless you plan on placing them high and out of reach like me, they won't work like a "lamp".
