Bought when I thought my mum might come visit. I thought it would be a great option so we could have guests, but it's easy to remove the bed to have more space if we don't have one. He's surprisingly strong (I tried jumping on him like kids usually do, but he stood firm and didn't budge at all). Very quick/easy to assemble/disassemble. One minute there's a bed in our office, the next there's no magic! It also has more space underneath than a traditional bed. So if you're buying it with the intention of making it a permanent bed, it has plenty of storage space. I bought this along with a Vibe mattress which also had good reviews. The weekender's bed frame is high and seems to support it evenly, so a box spring didn't seem necessary; Having just a frame and mattress works great in our small apartment, although space is obviously limited. I almost bought an extra bed but wanted a mattress choice (as well as a larger guest bed than two XL single beds) so I'm very happy and satisfied that I went down this route instead. Overall, I think this is a quality guest bed (or spare bed if I need one) and I only spent about $300-$400 (frame, mattress, and linens). Highly recommended.
