I am 5ft 5in and 160lbs. I usually wear a large size but I went with the sizing guide and got the recommended size xl. They're perfect for my buttocks and legs, but they're a bit loose at my waist (hips are actually pretty low). I worry about them falling off in the waves but I can say the big ones would be too small everywhere so I left the XL. The fabric is good quality, dries quickly and I expect the shorts will last a while. .
