Well it's a buffered saline solution with no preservatives. VERY HARD to find anything without preservatives. I have dry eyes and allergies. The doctor wants me to wash my eyes several times a day. Every eyewash I found contained preservatives that stung my eyes. I tried it because of the lack of preservatives. Very original packaging. Open the lid, remove the ring, close the lid again and it will open/seal. Of course, you should use up within a week or two (no problem for me). I put a towel under my eyes; to return; Pull out the bottom cover; Pour saline solution for 5 seconds to flush eyes. The doctor wants to wash the eyelids and eyes. Two-ounce bottles are good for on the go, but there are also three 4-ounce bottles (same 12 ounces) for slightly less at Revain. Too bad I didn't know that when I used contacts! All of these contact cleaners contain preservatives.
