These are non-adhesive shelf liners. They are spongy and soft, so they add softness to your shelf and protect the glass from chipping. They don't stay in place 100%, but they don't move excessively either. For example I've used it to line a drawer with a cutlery tray and it tends to shift a bit over time. Then I take the tray, push it away and put everything back in its place. If you put heavy slabs on it and then move it away, the liner will move with the slabs at least a little. But so far I've had them for 3 months and they look almost new. I think I've had similar ones and they lasted for years. I really liked this pattern.
