This is my third pair from Dansko and my first time buying online. What mistake. I bought them online because there is a wide option, but the pair I received are no wider than the ones I usually wear. I usually try them on in the store so I thought since this is my third pair I can order the same size and it will fit. My colleague just told me that Danskos are handmade so no two pairs are the same so it's best to try the shoes on first. I think I'm a small size 37. My legs hurt! I have a wide foot and usually wear a 7 or 7.5. I think people with narrow feet should have no problem landing. I will try to return them and go to the store to try on a pair that actually fit because I like how they feel (when they fit). When they fit properly they are so comfortable and my feet never get tired coming home from work at the hospital. They are easy to clean. The only problem is that sometimes the ankle twists when you take a wrong step (on the outside of the shoe) because the bottom of the sole is a bit narrower so its base is smaller than the top of the sole.
