Much better than plastic spools
I have been an embroiderer for many years and prefer cardboard spools to plastic spools. For plastic spools, you need to put a label instead of just writing the color number in pencil. Labels fall off. Paper rolls are also eco-friendly, adding no plastic to the ocean or landfills.
