1. Nice thick towels, thicker than expected.2. Towels are 2 inches long or slightly longer AND 1 inch to the width of the towel and 2 inches to the piping found at each end of the towel when washed in water at about 140 degrees Fahrenheit and dried in a hot dryer. Because the TRIM on the ends is on the outside edge, you won't get the wrinkled look you see when the trim is 2" to 5" from the edge with the TOWEL material on the outside edge. There was 1 of 4 towels that already had a pull in the material near the middle of the towel piece which may or may not be an issue. The uncut sides are beautifully stitched and taped.5. the material is quite dense and soft; even thicker than what I was looking for at the time (wanted to use it to dry hair and thick towels get heavy on head). Just washing them in Tide Pods and no dryer sheet will make the towels soft enough but NOT as smooth as they feel. softer but does not make the towel dry.6. On the first dry, when the lint filter filled up towards the end of the drying cycle, SO it dried some more, and the next time it dried there was almost no lint left, although I would expect the dryer lint filter to be full after each full load. Towels are washed every time. A NOTICE. Was looking for thin towels that are still very absorbent and measure from 40x24 to 40x40 after shrinking or pre-shrinking, so a minimum length of 40 inches after shrinking in hot water and oven. When I read someone saying they were 4 inches long I figured the resulting length of 44 inches after washing in hot water and drying in a hot dryer would be fine for long hair after washing. I've been hesitant to buy towels that are already 40 inches long, even though it's called pre-shrunk because they can shrink a little more and 40 inches long makes a nice wrap with a few extra inches to fold up. I'm still looking and will use them in the meantime.
