was damaged I like this one a lot. Garmin charges so much for this little thing. I couldn't find just this part from Garmin as they only sell the whole holder and for a lot more money. I have had to replace 2 Garmin suction cups so far and they soon got tired of breaking them. Once the plastic part breaks out of the suction cup, it no longer sticks to the windshield. I bought this one thinking if it broke at least it wouldn't cost as much as the Garmin. But so far it's holding up well. A good replacement and fits the other part of the Garmin mount just like the original. Direct replacement when the Garmin suction cup breaks.
