Arthritis and limited movement. She needed an open-topped table, multiple shelves, and limited space in her one-bedroom apartment. That's great! She has her phone, iPad, and Alexa within easy reach of her chair, and it's low enough that she can reach everything very easily. Assembling was easy after reading the instructions several times (there are actually no written instructions, only diagrams). The original box is very heavy, but after assembly the weight is better distributed. I assembled it at my house and then brought it to my mother's apartment, so once assembled it was even easy to move (on a small hand truck). Mom loves the table and given her limited mobility, this table meant a lot to her.
