My daughter has very curly, frizzy hair - the kind that stays frizzy even when wet. This dryer was a turning point for them. She can dry her thick hair pretty quickly and it's less frizzy than ever without the use of a flat iron. She often leaves them frizzy, but about half the time she wants to straighten them. She can do her entire hairstyle in half an hour. It would probably dry other hair much faster, but she straightens it with a round brush at the same time. She still used the frizz remover, but this is the best hair dryer she's ever used. Definitely recommended. Fast, quiet and helps get rid of frizz.
