Do yourself a favor and DO NOT buy this hand mixer! I made 2 cups of mayonnaise and this blender could barely blend them. I ended up sticking the whisk in the drill and making mayonnaise! I should add: if you like an appliance in your kitchen that not only gently mixes water but also just makes a sound like an engine about to die, go buy and go to a farm im Upstate New York, where everyone has good hands Blenders live noisily with other cheap hand blenders that aren't worth it. If I had kept the box I would have sent it back but the box disappeared upon opening the Christmas presents. It's not even worth donating to GoodWill as I'm sorry someone is selling it for $1.80 as the color of the week during the Monday sale (yes, all those colors are only $1.80 every Monday).
