The best iPad case for my kids

I bought a green iPad Air case for my 5 year old. If you search on Amazon, you will find that the same cases are sold under different brand names. Do a google search and you will see them everywhere. I think it's basically the same thing, some companies put their brand name on the back of the case, like this version of the Fintie. I've bought these for previous generations of iPad from different vendors and while they are similar, I've noticed a slight difference in quality due to the loose fit of the folding handle, the loose fit of the port cover, and the stem used that allows the handle to fold (metal or plastic). I'm happy to report that the Fintie case is perfect in all these aspects. The handle fits snugly into the case and doesn't flip over like the previous version of the iPad case I bought, yet is easy to turn for any small child. The port cover fitted snugly and stayed in place. I could also see that the shaft, which allows the handle to rotate relative to the body, was metal rather than plastic. I find that the simple design works very well and while the foam makes the iPad very bulky, it protects the device very well from drops. Little kids don't care that their bodies are bulky, and the size of the iPad makes it much easier to hold. The edges around the screen go in just enough that the screen protector I added doesn't blister or lift. It also doesn't cover any of the visible edges of the screen. The home button is also covered with foam rubber and doesn't interfere with operation in any way. The iPad is inserted by sliding it in from the lower back of the case. It should be tight, so you'll need to take your time inserting it. Once it's pushed in as far as it will go and the home button is aligned, the end of the case is pulled over the remaining edge. There is no chance of the cover falling out accidentally. Before using the case I would recommend washing it lightly with soap and water to remove any light oily residue around the case. Based on my experience with similar cases for previous iPads, this case should outlast your device.
