They have proven themselves well. I bought them to keep fruit flavored syrup for ice chips. This is a good option as they are big enough not to have to be constantly refilled. I bought a sports drink holder (like the ones that hold 6 bottles of Gatorade at a football game (Champion Sports Collapsible Water Bottle Carrier) to keep them from tipping over. It worked really well. Sometimes I wish they had caps ( for travel) but I don't want hats for everyday wear and I knew they didn't have hats when I bought them so no complaints.
