Working all day with outpatients without knowing their COVID-19 status requires good personal protective equipment. Recent studies show that infected patients are less likely to wear glasses than the general population and provide evidence that aerosolized viruses can become infected through eye contact and support the need for good eye protection. Face masks get in the way, and virus particles floating indoors can get trapped around them. Only goggles provide the necessary eye protection. Knowing this and wearing glasses, the only viable glasses should have a headband, have enough room for the glasses, be soft on the nose, and generally have good enough contact with the forehead and face on the side of the eyes. These goggles do just that and are inexpensive.
